Description
Join us at the library for an exciting new series, “You Ought To Know! Basic Life Skills.” Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, this is your chance to pick up some essential skills that everyone should have in their toolkit! Join members of the Quilt Guild of Greater Victoria for a workshop in Sashiko sewing. Learn the traditional "running stitch" technique and how to achieve those perfectly uniform Sashiko lines by practicing the stitch to create your own bookmark using denim. Registration is required. Open to adults and teens 14+.
